Benvenuto Vendemmia is September 19
The desire to rediscover and revive the extraordinary atmosphere of festivals linked to harvest time in the country has lead the Movimento Turismo del Vino to dedicate one Sunday in September, traditionally associated with harvest, for celebrating the occasion. Benvenuto Vendemmia takes place at a strategic and highly significant moment in the wine season.
With complete respect for the working phase that characterizes this period, Benvenuto Vendemmia, like Cantine Aperte, is the ideal occasion for opening the doors to wineries and assisting tourists and visitors with understanding the production cycle. It directly involves walks through the vineyards, visits to the producers, and tastings of traditional, local products coupled with the wines made on site.
During the festival, the winery provides folkloric shows, exhibits of winemaking tools, and traditional product tastings within the winery. This gives life to a real, immersive “harvest festival†feel to wine lovers and experts, enabling everyone to deepen their connection with the territory and its resources.
