I’ve been spending quite a bit of time the last few months hammering out all the technical bits for the new site launch in October, so my post for this months #ItalianFWT initiative isn’t quite as good as I’d hoped. When I heard the topic was volcanic wines, I knew I needed to at least make a short post.
Sicily’s Etna wines are all the rage at the moment, but a fairly unknown area in the volcanic wines category is the Campi Flegrei just north of Naples in Campania. I will go into more detail about the area when I spotlight Campania in the future but I wanted to highlight my favorite falanghina producer for #ItalianFWT. Please seek out their wines!
I also thought I would take the opportunity to share my favorite posts from the ABC’s of Campania Food & Wine series. Falanghina and Mozzarella are two things I could eat every day if given the opportunity. (And I think I did when I lived in Naples!)
